Mission

The mission of the UT Dallas Women ERG is to:

• Develop awareness of contributions of women to UTD
• Provide and support programs that contribute to the recruitment, retention, and advancement of women at UTD
• Serve as a safe networking and communications channel for women employees of UTD
• Serve as a voice and to advocate for women issues on campus and in the community.

The programs of the UT Dallas ERG will help to:

• Increase the visibility of the contributions and accomplishments of women at UTD by exposing students to a host of possibilities for their life after graduation
• Encourage networking and communication between women at UTD which increases opportunities for collaboration between schools, departments, and programs thereby enriching the educational and research programs at UTD
• Provide and support programs to highlight and advocate for women at UTD which contributes to the University’s reputation as an employer of choice.

Membership

Membership in the UT Dallas Women ERG is available to all UT Dallas employees. All members are eligible to chair committees, become candidates for elected office and vote in ERG elections.
